About Mürren Tandem Paragliding

A guide before you run off the meadow

Mürren Tandem Paragliding is an independent guide for everyone thinking about a tandem paragliding flight above the Lauterbrunnen valley. Here you will find how the two Mürren flights differ, what a flight costs in Switzerland, how Mürren compares with Interlaken, where else in the country you can fly, how the flight unfolds, what the rules say about pilots and insurance, which months suit a flight, what to wear, how to reach Mürren and how to fly on a day trip from Zurich. We are not a paragliding school and have no pilots of our own.

The site is available in English and five additional languages. It is written first in English.

How we research

Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: mostly the Swiss Hang Gliding Association, the BFU, the Schilthornbahn, Jungfrau Railways, the Jungfrau Region, the Lauterbrunnen, Mürren and Interlaken tourist offices and Switzerland Tourism, with climate data from MeteoSwiss. Information on flights, that is duration, languages, inclusions, weight limits and starting prices, is taken from the offers on GetYourGuide.

Wind and cloud cannot be ordered, and a pilot can postpone or cancel a flight on the day. Listings also differ in what they include, photos and the ride to the take-off above all. That is why we tell you plainly what a listing states and what it leaves open.

How we make money

Mürren Tandem Paragliding is funded through the GetYourGuide affiliate program. When you book through one of our links, we receive a commission; your price remains the same. There are no advertising banners here, and we do not sell your data.

Who is behind it

Mürren Tandem Paragliding is run by Lukas Weber from Munich. You will find all details about the provider in the legal notice. The easiest way to send questions, comments, or corrections is to email [email protected].
